30 hours per week (Mon–Fri 9:00–15:30)
Term time only (38 weeks)

The Governors of our popular, happy, and successful Catholic school are seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and committed Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our excellent team.
We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in supporting the learning and development of young children in our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). The successful applicant will work closely with the class teacher to support children’s learning through play, structured activities, and routines that promote social, emotional, and academic growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support children aged 3–5 in all areas of the Early Years curriculum
• Work with individual pupils or small groups, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
• Assist with the physical, emotional and social care of pupils
• Help create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing learning environment
• Support behaviour management and encourage positive social interactions
• Contribute to the preparation of resources and classroom organisation
• Work in partnership with teachers and parents to support children’s development
We are looking for someone who:
• Has experience working in an Early Years or primary setting
• Is familiar with the EYFS framework and child development
• Has experience supporting children with additional needs (e.g. social communication difficulties, ASD, ADHD)
• Communicates effectively with children and adults
• Is organised, proactive, and passionate about early childhood education
• Will actively support the Catholic ethos of the school
