Summary
My client is a large branded FMCG business, they are looking to recruit a Multi-skilled Engineer, ideally Electrical bias to join the business on a 12 month FTC to start asap.
The shift pattern is weekly rotation of 6-2/2-10/10-6 (Sunday night 10pm through to Friday lates 10pm)
Salary & Package
£44-£50k
Bonus - annual up to 10%. 5 % company performance. 5% personal contribution.
Shift Allowance - 3.8k PA
You will ideally be Electrically biased, but my client is happy to consider Mechanically biased or Single Skilled.
The role
You will be responsible for maintaining and optimising the mechanical and electrical systems in the production and warehousing facilities, as well as supporting and implementing continuous improvement projects.
You will underpin manufacturing operations at the site by conducting plant maintenance activities to achieve targeted levels of productivity, whilst championing safety and quality behaviours.
Day to day you will be involved in completing planned and reactive maintenance activities, recording and reporting all relevant data and information.
Overhauling and refurbishing parts and equipment.
Working cross-functionally with teams in the organisation to identify and systematically solve problems.
Identify and implement machine modifications and upgrades.
Develop documented training material and support in up-skilling the operations team.
Support in refining the equipment maintenance strategies through quality problem solving and implementation of best practice maintenance techniques.
Deliver performance and improvement initiatives against agreed maintenance and operations KPI's.
