Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate ASW Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) WCR 3 MAX to join our team. As an AMHP, you will be responsible for coordinating care, conducting comprehensive mental health assessments, and engaging with various stakeholders including social services, health care providers, and families. Your role will be pivotal in the decision-making process regarding appropriate care and treatment options, ensuring that service users' rights and preferences are upheld. This position requires you to work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop effective care plans, facilitating safe and supportive environments for those in need. Additionally, you will provide training and supervision for junior staff, sharing your expertise to foster a collaborative and informed team. Responsibilities
Conducting mental health assessments and evaluations for individuals in crisis.
Developing and implementing care plans based on individual needs and circumstances.
Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and services.
Providing telephone triage support for incoming mental health referrals.
Ensuring compliance with mental health legislation and best practice guidelines.
Offering support and guidance to families and social networks of service users.
Supervising and mentoring junior staff in their mental health practice.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessments and care provided.
Requirements
Qualified Social Worker with current ASW-AMHP approval.
Postgraduate qualification in mental health or equivalent experience.
Proven experience in mental health assessment and crisis intervention.
Strong knowledge of mental health legislation and policies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with service users and stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development and learning.

Hours Per Week: 36.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £29.21
