Summary

We are building a specialist bench of talented professionals to call upon for upcoming projects. As a Smart Modelling Redesign Specialist, you will be engaged as and when projects arise, working on high‑impact assignments that transform existing models into faster, clearer, and more adaptable tools.
This is an ideal opportunity for experienced professionals who value flexibility, enjoy tackling complex modelling challenges, and want to contribute to meaningful, results‑driven projects without committing to a permanent role. This is a preparatory phase aimed at building our pool of talent for future assignments — it does not constitute an active, ongoing, or contracted project at this time.

Key Responsibilities
- Review and Risk Assessment: Analyse existing models to identify key risks and improvement opportunities.
- Redesign for Performance: Rebuild models for speed, clarity, and simplicity without compromising accuracy.
- Enhance Transparency: Produce clear, accessible documentation to ensure full understanding and traceability.
- Future‑Proofing: Architect models with flexibility to adapt to evolving business demands.

Key Skills
- Proven experience in financial, actuarial, or business modelling
- Knowledge of modelling languages or tools (e.g., R, Python, SQL, SAS, VBA, or actuarial modelling tools such as Prophet)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to design models that are simple yet robust
- Strong communication and documentation abilities.

Requirements
- Must have the legal right to work in the UK.
- Available on short notice for project-based work.
- Prior consulting/project experience preferred.
- Works independently and delivers clean, well-structured outputs
