Summary
Personal care assistant required for young male
Our client is looking for a personal assistant for their son, who has high anxiety needs, to support him with accessing the community, as well as personal care once he feels comfortable with the successful candidate.
The successful candidate should be patient, flexible, and be willing to gradually build a positive relationship with our client’s son. He enjoys spending time in his bedroom and playing games on his console. Our client’s son can take time to trust others and may not interact much at first. Although he is mobile, his mobility can be limited so it is important that the successful candidate supports our client’s son while managing expectations.
The role is 3 hours per week, to be worked over variable days and times, paid at £12.21ph. The role is based in Scunthorpe.
Due to the nature of the role an enhanced DBS will need to be completed, which we will fund.
