Summary
The Brewery Bar was opened in February 2015 as a Tap Room for our brewery, Blackedge Brewing Company. Sited upstairs directly above the brewery is our Award Winning Bar. A touch of the Modern Industrial creates a relaxing & vibrant environment for all ages.
We want our Customers to feel welcome and provide a relaxed yet lively atmosphere, providing the best drinks around. We have a food offering to compliment the beer, unique and innovative, something that cannot be matched locally. We want to offer live events such as music & quizzes and are looking to build on these within the community.
The role of Tap Room Manager is to manage all aspects of the day to day running of the business.
Responsibilities:
Scheduling & managing team members including training.
Managing stock levels and ensuring pricing is up to date and relevant.
Cellar management ensuring product is kept and served at its best.
Ensuring legal compliance with licensing conditions.
All aspects of social media to promote our business and engage with customers.
Ensuring exceptional cleanliness throughout.
Maintaining excellent customer service standards are constantly met.
The successful candidate will have an outgoing personality, confidence and the ability to interact with customers and team members alike. Ideally we are looking for somebody with experience within the Hospitality sector and preferably in a busy environment and with a strong work ethic. As we are looking to introduce a food offering experience of food service will also be considered. This is a hands on role and can involve physical work. Cellar management experience is essential.
The Tap Room is open Wednesday to Sunday each week so you will be working these days 40 hrs per week. Obviously weekends are not for everybody, however are a pre-requisite of this job role.
