Summary
Role Overview:
Carbon60 Project Services are seeking a highly organised and proactive Training Administrator to support the delivery of training courses to apprentices. This contracted role will be responsible for managing course bookings, coordinating student logistics, and ensuring smooth administrative operations across multiple training sites. The successful candidate will play a key role in liaising with internal and external stakeholders, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the wider training delivery team.
Key Responsibilities:
Course Booking & Coordination
- Lead and manage the booking of FLC personnel onto OpNET Blue V1 courses.
- Handle telephone and email enquiries regarding student movements and course bookings.
- Send joining instructions to course attendees.
- Book accommodation for attendees.
- Support additional administrative tasks as directed by the OpNET TDLOD.
Apprentice Course Support
- Assist with booking and pre-course management.
- Ensure Phase 3 pre-arrival processes are completed, including:
- Verifying student nominations and updating TAFMIS.
- Establishing points of contact for joining instructions, nominal rolls, and account creation.
- Managing student queries, accommodation, and uniform requests.
- Identifying and cancelling undersubscribed courses in coordination with TDLOD.
- Liaising with accommodation teams and notifying relevant departments of changes.
- Producing and distributing TAFMIS documentation and nominal rolls.
Course Management & Reporting
- Create and maintain electronic SharePoint folders for each course.
- Confirm student arrivals and report non-attendance or anomalies.
- Run weekly reports on course completions and manage Training Assessment Failure Reports (TAFR).
- Support urgent student additions with appropriate logistics.
- Maintain course archives and assist with joining instruction amendments.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience in administrative or training coordination roles.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
- Familiarity with TAFMIS or similar training management systems (desirable).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders effectively.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Contract Details:
- Type: PAYE Contract
- Days: 230 days per year
- Duration: Initially contract, with a potential temp to perm transition.
- Location: Portsmouth, Whale Island
- Clearance Required: SC Security Clearance (this can be completed for you if not already held)
