The Role

As our new Service Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and overseeing care services that change lives. You'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of care delivery, ensuring full compliance with CQC standards, supporting staff development, and maintaining strong relationships with clients, families, and professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure all services consistently meet or exceed CQC compliance standards.
Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of Support Workers to deliver high-quality, person-centred support.
Oversee support plans, risk assessments, and client documentation, ensuring they are tailored, current, and understood.
Collaborate closely with families, health professionals, and external agencies.
Manage performance, and development plans.
Respond promptly to quality assurance audits and regulatory requirements.
Promote safeguarding, independence, and wellbeing across all services.
Be part of our on-call management rota to support service continuity.
About You:

You're more than a manager, you're an inspirational leader, a great communicator, and someone who's ready to advocate for the people we support.

Must-Haves:

Proven experience in care management and leading a team
Strong working knowledge of CQC compliance and care regulations
Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (Level 5 or willingness to complete within 12 months)
Solid IT skills and confident managing care documentation
Full UK driving licence and access to a car
Bonus if you also bring:

Experience with rota management, performance reviews, and staff training
Excellent problem-solving skills and a calm, collaborative leadership style
A track record of safeguarding and promoting wellbeing
