We're looking for compassionate, resilient, and dedicated individuals to join our team as Children's Residential Support Workers in Sheffield.
As a Children's Residential Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in the lives of young people aged 8-18 living in a residential care setting. Many of these children have experienced trauma, abuse, or neglect - they need your stability, patience, and care.
Key Responsibilities-
Provide day-to-day emotional and practical support to children and young people

Help create a safe, nurturing, and homely environment

Support educational, social, and personal development

Manage challenging behaviours with empathy and professionalism

Work closely with colleagues, social workers, and other professionals

Keep accurate records and contribute to care planning

A genuine passion for working with children and young people

Ability to build trusting relationships and stay calm under pressure

Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and sleep-ins

Ideally hold or be willing to work towards a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare

Experience in a care setting is desirable, but not essential - we provide full training
