Clinical deputy manager

I am seeking a Deputy Manager/Clinical Lead to join the team at a lovely medium sized Good rated care home in Doncaster
This is a super role for an experienced deputy looking to work in a supportive and growing company or an experienced clinical lead looking for the next step
You will be a Registered Nurse, and need to have experience working in a Care/Nursing Home environment.
You will have knowledge and experience of MCA & DOLS, Care Planning and Assessing, Quality Assurance, Recruitment, Person Centred Care and be confident with leading and supporting a team.

The Role:
Assisting the registered manager to ensure the home meets all regulatory CQC guidelines & requirements and strive towards gaining an 'Outstanding' rating for the service
Make the care of residents and their families a priority in all aspects of the work of the home
Maintain positive working relationships and communication with other healthcare professionals, the CQC, social service departments and any other external regulatory body
Maintain open, transparent and effective communications with Home Manger, carers, clients, relatives and any other concerned bodies
Strive for continuous improvement by keeping up to date with developments of clinical practice, education and training.
Assist to oversee the induction and orientation training of new staff, ensuring all staff are aware of safeguarding policies and procedures
Support care staff with daily allocation ensuring an even split of staff strengths across all areas of the home and help to oversee daily morning handovers
Complete regular checks on the care floor to ensure standards are kept at the highest level
Work with the team to develop resident’s life histories, hobbies and update care plans to reflect a person-centred approach and delivery of positive outcomes
Ensure all required documentation is kept up to date and of a high standard;
Identify strengths and areas of required development for individual staff members through the use of regular supervision
