Summary
The purpose of the violence reduction officer role is to contribute significantly to creating a safer environment within UHBW with their efforts focused on the prevention, support, and advocacy for colleagues impacted by violence.
They are to ensure that all investigations into incidents of violence are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner and to work in partnership with the police to aid investigation into crimes committed against UHBW employees. This will include sensitive and emotive topics including crimes against the person.
We are looking for a skilled person with a proven track record in victim support and excellent communication skills both written and verbal to provide competent professional advice to all levels of management and employees within the Trust to assist with legislative compliance and support regarding internal sanctions. The successful candidate will also thoroughly investigate incidents of violence & aggression to identify root causes and share learning.
