Summary
We are looking for an Adult's Social Worker to join a Mental Health Team.
This role requires a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience in a permanent contract/s.
About the Team
The team works together in accordance with the Care Act to assess and review the social care needs of adults who have primary mental health needs. The team undertakes safeguarding enquires and work with the safeguarding manager to manage risk and ensure positive outcomes are met. Completing MCAs and social circumstances tribunal reports, as well as social supervision for conditionally discharged patients under S37 and S41 patients are key responsibilities. The team work to create person centred, strength based support plans to ensure personalised care and best outcomes.
About you
A degree in Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of 2 years' experience working with adults is essential for this role. Having the ability to work as part of a multi-agency team as well as having a solid understanding of the Care Act 2014, the Mental Capacity act 2005, the Mental Health Act 2007 and the Human Rights Act 1998 are key to the success of this role. Driving is desirable but not essential.
