Summary

Riverside is home to our elective surgery hub - a 26-bedded multi-speciality fast turnover ward. We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join us as a band 6 senior staff nurse. This is a fast-paced area and is home to several surgical specialties including General Surgery, Urology, Breast, Plastics, and Colorectal. In addition the ward supports a day case interventional radiology pathway and an intensive care step down pathway for our elective patients. Furthermore we are a highly sought after placement for student nurses.

We welcome applications from nurses with significant ward experience who are either already performing in a band 6 role, or are ready to take that next step up. As a band 6, as well as overall shift responsibility, you will manage a group of RNs and HCSWs under the watchful eye of the Ward matron. You will also be supported to explore development and improvement opportunities.

Informal visits are highly recommended. Please contact Eibhlin Malone at eibhlin.malone@nhs.net or 07557245437
