Summary
Senior Mental Health Support Worker (Days)
Location: Leeds
Hours: 39.37/week | Shifts: 7:30am - 8:00pm (2-week rolling rota)
Salary: £28,354.27/year (£13.85/hr) + overtime (£15.35/hr) + £35/week on-call
Shift pattern:
- Week 1: Mon, Tue, Sat, Sun
- Week 2: Wed, Thu, Fri
Brand-new residential service supporting men with enduring mental health needs. As a Senior Support Worker, you'll deliver person-centred care while mentoring staff and ensuring residents feel safe, supported, and empowered.
What You'll Do
- Lead and support Recovery Support Workers
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred care
- Administer medication and maintain accurate records
- Act as shift lead in the absence of management
- Mentor new staff and contribute to team development
- Promote recovery-focused activities and independence
What We're Looking For
- Experience in mental health support
- Knowledge of care plans and risk assessments
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Passion for recovery and inclusion
