Summary
UHI Moray are looking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced individual to the post of Vocational Training Advisor. Applicants should be educated to HNC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, or hold a recognised mechanical apprenticeship, and must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Maintenance of industrial equipment and machining.
It’s essential that candidates have a working knowledge of Maintenance Engineering and Machining and ideally in CNC Machining. Applicants should be interested and enthusiastic in motivating and supporting others to achieve. The role will involve assessing students in the Moray area and beyond.
Key responsibilities:
1. Candidate registration, induction, and certification
2. Documentation, materials and associated administrative responsibilities with delivery.
3. Assessment of candidate portfolios and practice in the workplace
4. Supporting candidates towards their MA Engineering award
