Your new companyThis global telecommunications leader is driving innovation in digital connectivity, with a strong presence across mobile, broadband, and enterprise services. Known for its dynamic culture and international reach, the company is seeking a Senior Communications & Events Manager to join its London team on a 6-month fixed-term contract, with potential to transition into a permanent role.
Your new roleYou'll lead strategic communications and event delivery across the UK and EMEA, working closely with senior stakeholders to shape messaging and brand experience. This is a high-impact role suited to someone who thrives in fast-paced, global environments and enjoys both strategic planning and hands-on execution.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and deliver integrated communications strategies across internal and external channels.
- Lead the planning and execution of corporate events, including leadership forums, product launches, and industry conferences.
- Create engaging content for executive communications, press releases, and digital platforms.
- Manage relationships with PR agencies, media contacts, and event vendors.
- Support change communications and employee engagement initiatives.
- Track and report on communications and event performance metrics.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience in communications and events, ideally within telecoms, tech, or a global corporate setting.
- Excellent writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences.
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Comfortable working in a matrixed organisation with multiple priorities.
- Availability to start within 4 weeks or sooner.
