Neway are looking for a Business Support Officer to join our client based with the Council.
Location: 7 Skomer Road, Barry, Vale of Glamorgan, CF62 9DA
Client: Vale of Glamorgan Council Team: Families First – Children & Young People’s Service Contract Type: Temporary (26 Weeks)
Hours: 18.5 per week Start Date: 15 September 2025
Rate: PAYE £12.21/hr | Ltd/Umbrella £15.48/hr
About the Role
We’re seeking a detail-driven and organised Business Support Officer to provide essential admin and clerical support to the Families First Advice Line. This is a part-time, project-based role ideal for someone who enjoys making systems run smoothly and contributing to meaningful outcomes for families.
You’ll be responsible for:
Accurate data entry and referral processing
Supporting evidence-gathering to demonstrate service impact
Ensuring records are maintained to a high standard
