Summary

Site Manager

Carmarthen Town Centre (SA31 3BN) | Monday - Friday | 7:30am - 5pm | Day rate negotiable | 8-week contract

Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting for a Site Manager to oversee a large store conversion project based in Carmarthen town centre. The role offers an immediate start with 8 weeks of ongoing work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and coordinate internal fit-out works including door installation, soft flooring, dry lining and fire stopping.
  • Snagging completed works to ensure a high-quality finish.
  • Liaising with trades and managing labour on site.
  • Coordinating materials and deliveries.
  • Conducting inductions for new workers.
  • Ensuring all tasks are completed on time and in line with health and safety regulations.
  • Opening and closing the site daily.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Valid CSCS card.
  • SMSTS qualification.
  • First Aid certification.
  • Proven experience managing similar fit-out or refurbishment projects.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take full ownership of site activity.
