Summary
Job Title: Soft Services Operative (Cleaning and waste team)
Location: Basildon Tractor Plant, Cranes Farm Rd, Basildon SS14 3AD
Reporting to: Contract Manager
Experience: Experience within the cleaning industry will be advantageous, although training will be provided.
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week
Monday to Thursday 06:00 to 14:30
Friday 06:00 to 11:30
Overtime hours are occasionally available.
Principle Function The primary function of this role is to work as part of the team providing cleaning services and waste management services on site.
Duties will be varied and will include cleaning of office and workshop locations, and will include toilets, kitchens, and any areas as required.
Additionally, you will be trained to use forklift trucks and tow motors and you will be required to assist with the collection, sorting and disposal of site waste bins.
From time-to-time other duties will be required.
To complete all duties using the recognised processes on site and within the health and safety regulations on site. You will be required to complete documentation confirming that tasks have been completed to the correct standard.
To respond to Management and Client requests appropriately.
To report any health and safety issues.
Payment:
This is an hourly paid role requiring the use of a clocking machine.
£12.21 per hour.
