Summary

A Vacancy at Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust.


We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed child and adolescent Psychiatrist. Experience of working in specialist disability CAMHS team is an essential requirement. The ideal candidate will have sound risk assessment and management skills, good interpersonal skills and will thrive within a busy multi-disciplinary team environment, and enjoy short term work, assessments and consulting to a wide range of colleagues, flexibly across the different teams under the Integrated Children’s service umbrella. The post is currently split between two of these teams, Mosaic CAMHS and SCAS (Social Communication Assessment Service) diagnostic assessment and post diagnostic clinical support to children and young people with ASC and/or Intellectual disabilities.


This 0.9 WTE post is based in Mosaic CAMHS. This is a comprehensive service which functions as part of an integrated service for children with disabilities in Camden partnership with Central and North West London (CNWL) NHS Foundation Trust, Royal Free London Foundation NHS Trust, Whittington Health NHS Trust and Camden Local Authority it offers an ideal service to work as a key member of a multiagency service offering assessment, intervention and consultation to children and families with a range of disabilities and to work with networks supporting these children.
