Summary

Cambridge Regional College have an exciting opportunity for a first-class Admissions Officer to join our friendly Curriculum Operations Directorate at our bustling Cambridge Campus. You will join us on a part-time (30 hours per week), full year basis and in return you will receive a competitive salary of between £19,069 per annum, equivalent to a full time salary of £23,519 per annum, plus staff benefits.

About our role:
Reporting into the Curriculum Operations Manager, you will play a key role as an Admissions Officer.
The primary duties of this post will include:
Receiving and responding to all applications for full time, part time and HE courses, ensuring Admissions KPI’s are met – this includes the initial receipt of applications.Inputting all applications and student information on the student database (EBS) and checking all the appropriate information has been given. To be a point of contact for all recruitment at both campuses. This will require; liaising with tutors, parent(s)/carer(s)/guardian(s) and applicants. Send relevant correspondence to the applicants – invitation for interviews, rescheduled interviews, confirmation of offer, enrolment information. What we are looking for in our ideal Admissions Officer candidate:
The successful candidate will need to be highly motivated, organised and have the ability to manage their own work load and work in a fast pass environment. They must also be willing to work as part of a team and contribute to the planning and smooth running of key college events, providing a high level of customer service to staff, students and visitors.
They have a high standard of IT and problem-solving skills as well as excellent attention to detail. They must also have strong written communication, time management skills and must also be able to work well under pressure. GCSE English + Maths grade 4/C or above (or equivalent qualification) essential for this role.
The ideal candidate will be wanting to build on their existing administration experience, take on more responsibility, and utilise their professional skills as this role will involve dealing with confidential and important material.
