Summary
Do you enjoy rolling up your sleeves and getting stuck in to make things happen? If so, we’d love to hear from you!
The Role
We’re looking for a confident and experienced Senior Payroll & People Officer to lead on all things pay, payroll, and pensions at Via. You’ll be the go-to expert for our end-to-end payroll process, working closely with our outsourced provider and supporting the wider People Team with admin, projects, and data.
This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. You’ll be managing payroll changes, liaising with pension providers, coordinating our Pay Panel, and supporting key people initiatives. You’ll also be the first point of contact for pay and people queries, so being approachable and solutions-focused is key.
What We’re Looking For
• A real team player who’s worked in an HR/People team before and knows how to support colleagues across the organisation.
• Someone who’s not afraid to get stuck in, take ownership, and make things happen.
• Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and pension schemes.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Confident using payroll systems and Microsoft Office tools.
• Passionate about supporting services that work with vulnerable or socially excluded groups.
Why Join Us?
At Via, we’re proud of the work we do and the people who make it happen. You’ll be joining a supportive, values-driven organisation where your skills and ideas will be valued and where you’ll have the chance to make a real impact.
