We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Voids Repairs Manager to oversee and enhance our Building Services & Maintenance team. The Voids Repairs Manager will be responsible for managing both planned and reactive maintenance within void properties while ensuring that all repair works are conducted in compliance with health and safety regulations. You will engage with various stakeholders, including contractors, tenants, and other departments, to facilitate seamless operations and optimize processes. Responsibilities
Lead and manage the voids repairs team, ensuring effective day-to-day operations.
Develop and implement strategies to reduce void turnaround times while maintaining quality standards.
Conduct regular inspections of void properties to assess repair needs and prioritize tasks accordingly.
Maintain accurate records of all repairs, including budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
Liaise with tenants and stakeholders to provide updates on repair progress and address any concerns.
Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards for all repair work.
Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
Requirements
Proven experience in a similar role within building services or property maintenance.
Strong knowledge of building regulations, repair techniques, and health and safety practices.
Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
Excellent organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with various stakeholders.
Proficiency in using management software and tools for scheduling and reporting.
Relevant qualifications in building maintenance, construction management, or a related field.
