Summary

Working in a hybrid style, based at home and Dundee House, you will work full time, 37 hours per week.

Requirements

You will have a degree or equivalent in a relevant subject area (e.g., Business Management, Digital Service Design, Information Technology) or significant experience in project management within a digital setting.

Responsibilities

You will develop, lead, and manage strategic, financial, and staffing activities associated with digital transformation initiatives, leveraging modern digital technologies (AI, cloud computing, automation, data analytics) to enhance service delivery. You will work with key partners and stakeholders to deliver user-centred, accessible, and data-driven digital services aligned with the Council’s Digital Strategy.

The Individual

You will have experience in leading digital transformation projects, incorporating Agile and DevOps methodologies, proven experience in Digital Service development, including UX/UI, automation, and AI-driven solutions and demonstrable experience of managing multi-disciplinary teams, budgets, and resources.

You will have excellent oral/written communication skills, will demonstrate the ability to provide leadership and the ability to work with staff at all levels to develop solutions to complex problems. Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to collaborate across public, private, and third-sector organisations along with experience in system integration, API management, and cloud-based solutions and knowledge of cybersecurity, GDPR compliance, and accessibility standards is essential.
