Falkirk’s tourism economy is on an exciting growth trajectory, attracting more visitors than ever before and is now firmly established as an essential part of the Scottish visitor experience.
Following the introduction of the Visitor Levy (Scotland) Act, Falkirk Council is now undertaking a project to consider what a Falkirk Levy could look like and require an experienced tourism professional to lead on this high-profile project.
The project includes developing a draft Visitor Levy Scheme, commissioning and interrogating impact assessments, leading on industry and community engagement and ensuring adherence to both the Act and associated guidance.
This post is temporary until November 2027 to cover a temporary project.
