We're looking for a Marketing and Digital Lead to join Co-op Wholesale as part of the Customer Experience team. Since 1977, we've championed independent retailers to thrive with Nisa - and now, we're entering a bold new chapter as Co-op Wholesale. It's the same spirit, with bigger ambition: bringing the power of Co-op to more local businesses than ever. And with that, exciting opportunities are on the rise, like this one.
We've set up a brand-new Customer Experience team to make a real difference for our varied wholesale customer base, including independent retailers, corporate partners and national accounts. This team is all about bringing focus, speed, and creating new ways of working. Getting the right messages to the right people and making sure our customers feel understood.
You'll lead the strategic activation of the Co-op Wholesale brand across digital and partner-facing channels. Always making sure that we have a consistent brand presence that drives partner engagement, commercial performance, and long-term value. Your work will align marketing efforts with our customer needs and overall business goals.
What you'll do
* Lead brand activation across B2B digital and partner channels
* Develop and deliver integrated marketing and digital plans for partner acquisition, growth and retention
* Oversee execution of campaigns, content, and digital experiences that reflect brand values and deliver measurable impact
* Manage and develop a high-performing team across marketing, content, digital platforms and optimisation
* Make sure all marketing and digital activity is insight-led, inclusive and continuously optimised
* Own and manage marketing and digital budgets, ensuring clear return on investment and long-term value
* Spot trends and shape future-focused, value-led marketing strategies
This role would suit people who have
* Strong leadership experience in B2B marketing
* Proven ability to align marketing strategy with commercial growth
* An analytical and insight-led approach to decision-making
* Excellent partner management and cross-functional collaboration skills
* Confidence in presenting to drive excitement and buy-in to our plans
* Experience managing teams across brand, content, and customer segments
Why Co-op?
If you have the skills that we need, we can offer you a competitive salary and great benefits package which includes 30% off Co-op branded products in our food stores (as well as other discounts on Co-op products and services).
* An annual bonus (based on personal and business performance)
* 28 days holiday (rising to 32 with service) plus bank holidays
* A pension with up to 10% employer contributions
* Private healthcare for you and your family
* Access to a subsidised onsite gym (at our Manchester HQ)
* Coaching and training to support your career development
* Wagestream app - giving you access to a percentage of your pay as you earn
