Summary
You'll lead on the development and delivery of our decarbonisation strategy, ensuring retrofit and energy efficiency are fully embedded into our planned maintenance and regeneration programmes.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement a decarbonisation strategy integrated with planned maintenance and regeneration programmes.

Lead on the delivery of retrofit schemes, ensuring compliance with PAS2035 and other relevant standards.

Identify funding opportunities (e.g. SHDF) and manage successful bids, reporting, and delivery.

Collaborate with regeneration and asset management teams to embed low-carbon design and retrofit solutions into long-term plans.

Monitor performance, outcomes, and carbon reduction metrics across retrofit and capital works.

Ensure resident engagement and satisfaction throughout decarbonisation and retrofit projects.

Act as the subject matter expert for all matters relating to energy efficiency, sustainability, and retrofit.
About You
You'll be a confident and proactive professional with a track record of leading decarbonisation, planned investment, or regeneration programmes in a housing or property context.
Essential:

Experience in delivering decarbonisation, retrofit, or energy efficiency programmes.

Strong understanding of housing regeneration and planned maintenance.

Knowledge of SHDF, PAS2035/2030, EPC, RdSAP, and other relevant standards.

Skilled in managing contractors, consultants, and multi-disciplinary teams.

Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, particularly with residents and communities.

Project management skills with a strong focus on delivery, compliance, and value for money.
Desirable:

Relevant qualifications in sustainability, construction, energy, or environmental management.

Experience in a social housing or local authority environment.
