Responsibilities:

We are seeking an experiencedYard/Depot Managerto oversee the efficient and safe operation of our yard and depot. Key responsibilities include:

- Maintaining a clean and organised yard in line with Health & Safety standards

- Managing stock levels and ensuring all outgoing equipment is clean and fit for purpose, ensuring we have all plant and equipment for the next day's work.

- General yard maintenance and Traffic Management sign manufacturing

- Coordinating daily tasks and delivering these tasks as well as assigning work to Traffic Management staff when they are in the depot.

- Enforcing company rules and procedures to ensure compliance and safety

- Liaising with depot management to support operational efficiency

What good looks like:

- Full UK manual driving licence with fewer than 6 points

- Legal right to work in the UK without sponsorship

- Ability to pass drug and alcohol screening

- Strong leadership, adaptability, and problem-solving skills

What else would look good:

- Previous experience in a yard/depot management or supervisory role

- Familiarity with Traffic Management operations and equipment

- Experience in stock control and team coordination
