What you will be doing as a Deputy Manager
As a deputy manager at Mead Care, you will be responsible for supervising and inspiring a dedicated team of staff within the home. You will be responsible for assisting the registered manager in the running of the home whilst promoting and delivering person centred care, being mindful of each client’s age, gender, sexuality ethnicity and spiritual needs. You will be responsible for the smooth-running a of shift and supporting the full team, rota planning, administering medication, care planning, reviews, quality assurance, working with outside professionals, liaising with GP’s, District Nurses etc,
About you
You must register with the SSSC, and have satisfactory employment checks. You will have had experience of working within elderly care. Dedicated and compassionate, you’ll pride yourself on your person centred, thoughtful approach to care. Be confident in computerised systems and email. Have experience in managing a staff team.
