Summary


This post is a yearly rotational post across 2 hospital sites, St. Bartholomew’s Hospital and The Royal London Hospital. You will join a large and well established dietetic department. The successful candidate will join the Cardiac & Critical Care rotation. This willlikely be for 6 months before rotating to a different specialty due to a vacancy arising part-way through the rotation.

Working with an integrated team of therapists

Supervise, educate and assess the performance of dietetic students

Undertake evidence-based audit and research projects and make recommendations to clinical lead / manager of service for changes to practice by the team

To provide a flexible and effective dietetic service at Band 6 level to patients at The Royal London Hospital or St Bartholomew’s Hospital. There are five yearly rotations which include Cardiology & Critical Care, Neurosciences & Trauma, Renal, Gastroenterology and Haem-oncology. The initial rotation for this position will be in the Critical Care & Cardiology post and will likely be for 6 months due to a vacancy arising part-way through the rotation.

Each rotation will participate in continuing professional development and undertake research and audit on a regular basis to ensure that practice is evidence based.
