Typical day as Property Manager





Working for one of UK's top ten Great Places to Work, you will…





  • Managing rent accounts, tenancy issues and formal actions when required, ensuring policies and procedures are followed.


  • Conducting property inspections, monitoring repairs and maintenance, and liaising with contractors to keep homes safe and welcoming.


  • Supporting customers to maintain communal areas and personal spaces while encouraging independence and pride in their home.


  • Coordinating with support colleagues and third-party providers to meet Service Level Agreements and resolve issues quickly.


  • Recording property and tenancy information, preparing reports, and keeping systems up to date.


  • Responding to queries from customers, colleagues and neighbours, using initiative to solve problems while maintaining professional boundaries. 





You have



  • Experience in housing or property management, or transferable skills from a related sector, with confidence to manage tenancies effectively.


  • Ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, contractors and partners, working positively and assertively when needed.


  • Knowledge of housing law, tenancy agreements, rent collection, void management and basic property maintenance standards.


  • Confidence to work independently, manage your own time and caseload, and use initiative to solve problems calmly.


  • IT skills for email, databases and property systems, with a willingness to learn new tools on the job.


  • Flexibility for working hours and travel across properties
