Summary
Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a reliable and highly organised Nightshift Front Desk Operator to join our busy team at the Bicker Depot. This is a vital front-line role, supporting both drivers and the wider traffic team during night operations.
What We're Looking For:
First-class organisational skills and a sharp eye for detail
Confident and professional telephone manner
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Previous experience in transport or logistics is beneficial but not essential
A proactive attitude and a team-focused mindset
What You'll Be Doing:
Despatching and debriefing drivers in line with company training procedures
Scanning PODs and running sheets accurately and efficiently
Organising weekly timesheets into numerical order
Providing excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders
Answering calls and assisting the traffic office when not attending to front desk drivers
Supporting the Traffic Operations Manager and Admin Supervisor with additional tasks as required
Working collaboratively as part of the admin and front desk team
Always striving for continuous improvement in your role
Hours: 42 hours per week (Nightshift)
Core Days: Monday to Friday, with flexibility to cover a minimum of 15 weekends annually (with notice)
Salary: Competitive
