Office based - WFH from time to time
Salary negotiable up to £45k - plus benefits package
On behalf of Our Client - we are looking for an experienced ESTIMATOR. Experience is essential, preferable from a wood/metal background
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Taking briefs from the estimating manager and/or client.
· Review and understanding the job specific tender requirements and contractual terms.
· Preparing tender packages for suppliers, subcontractors and incumbent factories.
· Liaison with the supply base throughout the tender process to answer queries and ensure timely receipt of quotations.
· The preparation of multiple, accurate and detailed estimates using Microsoft excel that incorporate the required materials and necessary workshop labour for all operations, such as; machining, joinery, assembly &/or welding.
· Analysis of supplier tender returns.
· Suggesting VE solutions.
· Submission of tender documents to the estimating manager in a timely manner.
· Liaison with clients post tender, answering queries and making amendments.
· Handing over to project delivery team and working with various departments to ensure delivery of projects on time and on budget.
· Attending prestart meetings.
All engineering ESTIMATING backgrounds will be considered.
This is a non hybrid role - office based - with occasional site visibility.
