Where will you be working?
We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.
This role will be within our Water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

What will you be doing?
You'll be part of our Pre-Construction Commercial Team who are responsible for delivering Capital Projects for numerous AMP8 frameworks. The role involves the pre-construction pricing, planning, interpreting site investigation reports and designing of Civils Engineering & Utility based projects in environments such as clean water networks, storage solutions, tanks, underground structures, pumping stations, gravity sewers, water & sewage treatment works etc.
You'll ensure that we comply with industry best practice, and where appropriate identify innovative solutions for consideration.
You'll learn how to undertake commercial pricing exercises using market leading estimating software, learn an industry recognised standard method of measurement, produce programmes for construction works and pre-construction activities, understand how major projects are designed, learn about the NEC4 suite of contracts.
You'll work within the vibrant Estimating team and engage with internal and external stakeholders that will enable you to further develop your understanding and capability in a built environment.
What you’ll bring

- Have you been graduated within the last 2 years or about to graduate?
- Have you achieved or expected to achieve as a minimum 2:1 degree or equivalent in either Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or Similar construction management related qualification?
- Do you have Right to work in the UK for a minimum of 3 years from September 2025?
- Do you hold a valid UK Driving License?
- Do you have motivation? A clear commitment to advancing your career within the water industry.
- Do you have flexibility? Willingness to travel to different locations across the UK during two-year programme.
