We have an opportunity for a full time permanent Social Worker Advanced Practitioner post within our Care Home Assurance and Review Team which focuses on completing statutory reviews and also support quality assurance, monitoring in care homes and improvement of outcomes for adults who live in care homes

If you wish to be considered for an Advanced Practitioner position you will be required to evidence a proven track record of supporting team practice development, such as mentoring, facilitating student placements, groups or communities of practice and a commitment to your own continuous professional learning and development. You should have experience of working with a complex caseload, including participating in, presenting at, and/or chairing multi-disciplinary meetings.

You must hold a relevant Social Work qualification, be registered with the SSSC and will be required to undertake an updated PVG check.
Due to service redesign, applications are welcomed from experienced registered Social Workers who meet our Advanced Practitioner criteria:
Minimum 3 years post qualifying experience, accompanied by:
• Evidence of Post Graduate Qualification, or
• Evidence of additional learning and development*, and
• Management of Complex Cases
*commitment to undertake additional Post Graduate Qualification if required.
This post is based within various locations across Falkirk and you may be required to work from other Falkirk Council premises.
You must have the ability to travel as per service demand.
This post is 37 hours per week but applications from those who wish to work part-time will also be considered.
