Personal Assistant/Support Worker Ref: JDY/SF/3-25
One Permanent Part-Time Male or Female Personal Assistant/Home Carer required to job share as part of a team, to assist an adult Male with a Physical Disability, living on his own in East Kilbride. Wheelchair accessible ground floor home.
I’m looking for someone living locally in East Kilbride with over three years U.K. experience either as a Hospital Care Assistant or Social Care Support Worker to provide Medical/Social Care support and occasional back-up support if required.
I am a private employer, not registered for sponsorship.
A full clean U.K. driving licence for at least three years is essential and you must be capable of driving a large automatic estate car, Insurance has an age restriction, you must be 25 years old or over.
Use Person car hoist for transfers, training will be provided.
Hours of Work (with a degree of flexibility is essential)
Friday, Saturday and Sunday 24 hr week
Friday £15 per hour, Sat & Sun £15.50 per hour.
28 Days Leave. Statutory Sick Pay. Workplace pension.
12 weeks probation period.
6 weeks resignation notice required in writing.
You must be flexible to cover each other’s Sick Leave and Annual Leave when needed as overtime.
