The role: Responsible for supporting and maintaining the company’s business systems, ensuring these operate effectively and efficiently and managing a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Manages the provision of a service desk to support operational and support service teams in their use of the systems.
Manages and supervises staff allocated to the role.
Analyses and reports on the support calls raised by users, proposing and putting into place actions to address issues.
Works closely with a range of stakeholders across the business.
Provision of support and ad hoc training to staff in the use of the business systems
Produce quality written procedures, user manuals and guides to support the operation and maintenance of the systems.
Works closely with internal IT teams and third-party suppliers
Assists on system development projects
Follows change control procedures ensuring approval for change is obtained, documentation is updated, business processes are modified plus system changes are performed in a planned and controlled manner.
Contributes to the active engagement of the users of the system including through various forums and internal user groups
What We're Looking For:
Staff supervision experience
Report writing skills including use of BI reporting tools.
Manipulating large data sets in Excel to produce information
Advanced SQL skills
Experience in delivering training and production of training documentation.
