JOB OVERVIEW
A fantastic opportunity to join Kent College's Junior School as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant has arisen. We are looking for an enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and welcoming Junior School team to provide learning activities for pupils under the professional direction and supervision of the class teacher. They will also plan, prepare and deliver lessons/learning boosts to whole classes, small groups and individual pupils.The successful candidate will have recent experience of working in a primary school, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The Junior School ( from Nursery to year 6) has some 200 children and is set on an idyllic 14-acre campus. THE POSITIONThe role is part time, term time only (35 weeks per year). You may be required to work occasional Saturdays for open days and special events.Please see attached Job Description for more information.
