Summary
Assess diagnose and treat nutrition related problems for patients undergoing surgery and/or requiring intensive care. Devise and monitor enteral & parenteral feeding regimens. Work closely with the wider MDT to optimise patient care and outcome. Provide training to ICU & surgical colleagues on nutrition screening, management & support. Contribute to the training & development of students on clinical placement, apprentice dietitians and junior colleagues. Undertake audit and projects to promote service quality and development.
