Our Portfolio Management Team, within the Technology and Technical Operations directorate, drives strategic delivery across key product lines including Teaching & Learning, Student Lifecycle, Research & Academic, Library, HR & Finance, Estates, and Cross-Functional services such as Business Insights, CRM, and Customer Service Management.

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst who thrives on understanding and improving business processes, working collaboratively across complex organisations, and using data to support strategic decision-making.

You will work closely with Product Line Teams, Department Heads, Business Process Owners, and external partners to analyse, document, and improve both current and future business and data management processes. You will play a key role in identifying and defining user needs, producing clear business requirements, and shaping technology-enabled solutions aligned with the College’s strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Lead business process analysis and improvement initiatives across faculties and service areas.
Gather and document user requirements through interviews, workshops, surveys, and workflow analysis.
Develop business cases, process maps, journey maps, and specifications using a user-centred, data-informed approach.
Recommend and support implementation of system, process and data management improvements to enhance efficiency, governance, and service delivery.
Act as a Business Partner to stakeholders, translating business needs into actionable solutions and measurable outcomes.
Support change programmes addressing technological, cultural, and organisational transformation.
What We’re Looking For

Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a strong focus on business process improvement, requirements gathering, and solution design.
Solid understanding of business systems and data management; able to leverage data to inform decisions.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Collaborative, proactive, and able to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset.
