Your new role

  • Select a working pattern that suits your lifestyle, whether that's consistent full-time cover or flexible part-time days
  • Deliver inspiring and age-appropriate lessons for KS1 pupils, using materials provided by the school
  • Help children build foundational skills in phonics, reading, maths, and social development
  • Provide clear handover notes to ensure continuity for the class teacher
  • Maintain a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that sparks curiosity and builds confidence
  • Follow school behaviour and marking policies with professionalism and consistency


What you'll need to succeed

  • Availability for flexible or ongoing supply assignments
  • Experience teaching within the Key Stage 1 curriculum
  • A confident classroom presence and excellent communication skills
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to work alongside support staff
  • A teaching style that adapts to varied learning needs and pupil abilities
  • A positive, professional attitude when engaging with children, colleagues, and parents
