Your new role
- Select a working pattern that suits your lifestyle, whether that's consistent full-time cover or flexible part-time days
- Deliver inspiring and age-appropriate lessons for KS1 pupils, using materials provided by the school
- Help children build foundational skills in phonics, reading, maths, and social development
- Provide clear handover notes to ensure continuity for the class teacher
- Maintain a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that sparks curiosity and builds confidence
- Follow school behaviour and marking policies with professionalism and consistency
What you'll need to succeed
- Availability for flexible or ongoing supply assignments
- Experience teaching within the Key Stage 1 curriculum
- A confident classroom presence and excellent communication skills
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to work alongside support staff
- A teaching style that adapts to varied learning needs and pupil abilities
