Key Responsibilities
- Processing client and office account transactions in line with Solicitors' Accounts Rules (SAR)
- Performing bank reconciliations for client and office accounts
- Managing incoming and outgoing payments (BACS, CHAPS, cheques)
- Allocating funds, posting disbursements, and ensuring timely invoice payments
- Handling transfers between client and office accounts with accuracy
- Liaising with fee earners regarding financial queries and supporting matter management
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Legal Cashier or in an accounts' role within a legal firm
- Strong understanding of Solicitors' Accounts Rules (SAR)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Confident communicator with a collaborative approach
- Proficiency in legal accounting software and Microsoft Excel
