Summary

Nursery Practitioner Level 3 or above – £26,000–£28,000 – 41 Hours per week

Our client is looking for a caring, motivated and qualified Nursery Practitioner to join their welcoming nursery team. Supporting children aged 0–5 years, this role offers the opportunity to create a nurturing, play-based learning environment where every child feels safe, supported and inspired to thrive.

The nursery is based in a beautifully renovated house, with light and spacious rooms, a homely “home from home” feel, and a stunning outdoor garden designed for children to play, explore and learn in a safe, natural environment.

What We’re Looking For

  • Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years or Childcare (essential)
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices
  • Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A warm, enthusiastic and proactive approach to caring for young children

Your Responsibilities

As a Nursery Practitioner (Level 3 or above), you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS
  • Provide a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children to flourish
  • Act as a Key Person for a small group of children, observing and recording their development
  • Build positive, professional relationships with parents and carers
  • Work collaboratively with your team to ensure the smooth running of the nursery room
  • Maintain a tidy, welcoming and well-organised learning space
