Clinical Blood Sciences (CBS)

The South West London Pathology laboratory at Epsom & St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust operates a 24-hour shift system, providing cover to a busy A&E and acute services on both the Epsom and St Helier sites. The Clinical Biochemistry laboratory is currently equipped with Abbott Alinity Ci analysers integrated with a GLP automation track. We are also undergoing an exciting Beckman implementation project, with plans to introduce Beckman systems including the DxI 9000, DxA Track, Automate, and AU5800 analysers. The post holder will work primarily in the Biochemistry section, supporting Biomedical Scientists in delivering a safe, efficient, and high-quality diagnostic service.

South West London Pathology is an award-winning NHS pathology partnership set up by St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Croydon Health Services NHS Trust and Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust to provide a single, integrated pathology service across South West London and beyond.
