Summary

We currently have a fantastic opportunity to join our Repairs Team, within the Customer Service Department as a part time Administrative Support Officer and you might be exactly who we’re looking for!

Administrative Support Officer
20 hours per week
Monday to Friday, 9am-1pm (flexible)
Scale 2/3 (£24,796 - £25,989 pro rata, per annum)

In this role, you will carry out a wide range of administrative tasks to help ensure the efficient delivery of our repair services. You will be responsible for maintaining records, supporting communication with customers and stakeholders, monitoring training and contributing to accurate financial reporting.

Key duties include processing invoices and providing monthly financial updates on income and expenditure. You will maintain accurate records for all BCH vehicles, including tax, insurance and service history. You will monitor the vehicle tracking system, produce reports and highlight any exceptions or issues.

In addition, you will help manage customer communications by recording and coordinating responses to queries and complaints from tenants, councillors and MPs, ensuring a timely and professional resolution.

Further responsibilities include maintaining the databases, monitoring action plans and supporting the Planners with general administrative duties. During busy periods, you may also assist the Customer Service Adviser team with incoming telephone enquiries.

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in an administrative position, you must have excellent organisational and communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is essential.
