Summary
Recovery Worker (Mental Health Service)
Location: Lytham St Annes, Lancashire
Hours: Full-time, shift-based including 1 sleep a week
Salary: £12.60ph 37.5 hours a week Sleep rate - £80persleep
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Recovery Workers to join a well-established 11-bed mental health rehabilitation service. This service provides personalised support to adults (18+) experiencing mental ill health, helping them build resilience, independence, and a positive future.
About the Service
Our team delivers individual rehabilitation intervention plans tailored to each resident’s needs. Support areas include (but are not limited to):
Social anxiety, general anxiety, and building positive self-image
Learning disabilities support and life skills development
Medication management and healthy lifestyle guidance
Stress management, anger management, and solution-based therapy
Sleep hygiene, DBT self-help facilitation, and resilience building
Bereavement and grief support, boundaries, and healthy relationships
Relapse prevention and crisis management
Diabetes, weight, and pain management
Behavioural support and hearing voices interventions
Group workshops, gardening, cooking, arts & crafts, and community outings
Your Role
As a Recovery Worker, you will:
Provide one-to-one and group support in line with personalised rehabilitation plans.
Assist residents to develop life skills, confidence, and independence.
Support with physical and mental health needs, including medication administration.
Promote engagement in therapeutic and recreational activities.
Maintain accurate records and liaise with care coordinators and other professionals.
Contribute to a safe, supportive, and empowering environment for residents.
About You
We are looking for individuals who are:
Compassionate, empathetic, and committed to recovery-focused care.
Experienced in working with adults with mental health needs (desirable but not essential full training will be provided).
Confident working as part of a 24/7 rota, including evenings, weekends, and nights.
Skilled in communication, de-escalation, and collaborative working.

You will join a supportive team of Recovery Workers, led by an experienced management team, with access to training, supervision, and development opportunities.
