Summary
About Us
NWI is a growing national contracting and reactive maintenance provider, delivering high-quality construction, repair, and maintenance solutions for commercial and industrial clients. We operate at speed, with safety and quality always at the forefront, supporting clients nationwide with both planned and reactive services.
We’re growing fast — and we’re ready to secure bigger wins. That means landing major tenders, gaining regular direct-to-client work, and building long-term partnerships with Tier 1 contractors.
Position Overview
We’re seeking an energetic, results-obsessed, and highly outgoing Business Development Coordinator who knows how to win work in the maintenance and construction sector. You’ll be the driving force behind securing new contracts, building client relationships, and positioning us as the go-to choice for quality, reliability, and responsiveness.
We are putting money into marketing and social media to help us grow, this contract is temporary for 3 months but will lead to a permanent position if results are shown and targets are met.
This role isn’t for someone who waits for opportunities to come to them — it’s for a proactive hunter who thrives on making connections, confidently presenting our services, and closing deals.
Key Responsibilities
New Client Acquisition
Proactively research and approach prospective clients, from property managers to large contractors and Tier 1 companies.
Build strong networks within the construction, facilities management, and maintenance industries.
Secure direct-to-client maintenance contracts and regular repeat business opportunities.
Relationship Management
Develop and maintain long-term partnerships with decision-makers, procurement teams, and project managers.
Pipeline & Performance Tracking - using Hubspot, Lemlist
Track all activity in the CRM [hubspot] and report on progress against monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
Use of Lemlist, Hubspot and Linked In
Must be extroverted and driven and be confident cold-calling
Qualifications & Experience
Experience in business development, sales, or tender coordination, ideally within maintenance, construction, or facilities services.
Proven track record of securing contracts.
Strong networking skills, with the ability to connect quickly with industry professionals.
Excellent verbal and written communication
Key Traits for Success
Results-Driven: Hitting targets isn’t enough — you aim to exceed them and set new benchmarks.
Extroverted & Confident: You thrive on engaging with people, from site supervisors to boardroom executives.
Persistent: You don’t stop at “no” — you find a way forward.
Industry-Savvy: You understand the construction and maintenance landscape, from procurement processes to site challenges.
Organised: You can juggle multiple tenders, meetings, and follow-ups without missing a beat.
