This is a permanent position, working 36.25 hours per week, offering a dynamic and flexible working environment.You will work closely with Project Delivery Managers to identify suitable sites and properties for development in line with our current Development Strategy. You’ll carry out inspections of potential development opportunities, offering technical advice and feasibility assessments to inform decision-making.Throughout the construction process, you will monitor progress and quality to ensure compliance with design specifications, building regulations, and current legislation. You will review design and tender documentation, providing feedback to ensure alignment with the RWP Design Brief and adherence to fire, gas, and electrical regulations. Your expertise will be essential in conducting snagging and pre-handover inspections, ensuring that completed properties meet the Design Guide, Employer’s Requirements (ERs), and agreed specifications.This role is primarily home-based, with regular travel to development sites and office locations nationwide. What You Will Bring:GCSE or equivalent standard of education. Professional/technical qualification ASSOCRICS as a minimum or working towards MRICS / MCIOB, MCABE.Have full access to a car and full UK driving licence.Expertise in Building Surveying and Condition Surveys.Knowledge of residential construction, including relevant and recent experience in the inspection of refurbishment and new build schemes and the remedy of defects.Up to date knowledge of legislation relating to construction health and safety (including CDM regulations).Up to date knowledge of the current Building Regulations.Up to date knowledge of current fire regulations and the impacts to residential development.A keen attention to detail with a positive approach and attitude with an ability to work flexibly, under pressure and to deadline What We Offer:A competitive starting salary in recognition of your skill and dedication.A role within an established organisation celebrating 30 years of community building.A benefits package focused on work-life balance.
