Summary
Specific duties and responsibilities include: Day to day supervision of case-based operations in the service Supporting both the team to which the postholder is allocated and the whole service in practice development, procedure and template document-writing and continuous review, legal updates, the identification of officers training and development needs, provision of training and performance management. Operating a duty Rota to ensure expert technical advice continuously available to staff. Performing statutory allocations and homelessness reviews. Maintaining a specialist area of expertise to support the whole service. Ensuring by their availability that the Housing Solutions Team Leaders and the Service Manager Housing Solutions can perform line management, service development and service management functions. Housing advice, allocations and homelessness Providing advice and guidance to officers about the performance of their roles, by providing technical advice to ensure timely and lawful decision-making.
