A Small and bespoke Housing Developer are looking for a Site Manager for a 12-month contract role.
Job Duties:
• Oversee the construction project involving the building of 6 new homes and refurbishment of a barn in Oxfordshire.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
• Manage health and safety protocols on the site, including conducting regular inspections and ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Keep accurate records of project progress, expenses, and any issues that arise during construction.
• Communicate effectively with the project team, stakeholders, and clients to provide updates and address any concerns.
Required Qualifications:
• Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification
• CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card
• First Aid certification
• Valid Driving Licence
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
• Relevant experience in site management within the construction industry
• Demonstrated knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and best practises
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
• Additional health and safety certifications
• Previous experience working on residential construction projects
• Experience managing subcontractors and tradespeople
Working Conditions:
• Work on-site in Oxfordshire, overseeing the construction project
• Full-time hours with occasional weekend work may be required to meet project deadlines
• Must adhere to health and safety regulations and wear appropriate protective gear
